Found a PENNY! Well....a Halfpenny

A big shout-out to one of our hover-friends for kindly donating his treasure to BHC.

Mark found the (1729) George II Halfpenny recently while out hovering on the River Medway.

One of our most dedicated BHC hovercraft owners (& just a thoroughly nice chap) - out hovering nearly everyday and making the most of his BHC Freestyle Hovercraft, which now has just shy of 300 hours.

Steeped in history - Kent waterways bear the fruits of many mudlarking finds, our trophy cabinet is full of various artefacts, with Roman Pottery & this Halfpenny taking pride of place.
