Celebrating 12 Years of Innovation: The British Hovercraft Company Marks Global Expansion Milestone
Today marks the 12th anniversary of The British Hovercraft Company (BHC). Since our incorporation in 2014, we have grown from a local manufacturer into a global leader, now exporting to 52 countries worldwide.
To support our rapid growth, operations are now structured across three specialized divisions covering all aspects of hovercraft activity:
- BHC: Our core manufacturing hub, driving production and design excellence.
- BHS: Dedicated to managing and supporting our commercial hire clients.
- BHE: The experiential arm keeping the BHC brand alive at major events nationwide.
Our global footprint continues to expand with 10 international distributors now marketing and selling the BHC range. We are also gearing up for the highly anticipated release of the Hov-Pod BHX in the coming months.
Demand spans the globe across both sectors:
- 2026 Commercial Orders: Actively fulfilling contracts for Iraq, Canada, Tunisia, the Netherlands, and South Africa.
- 2026 Recreational Craft: Supplying premium craft to Dubai, New Zealand, France, the USA, and Canada.
